The directors of MyCash Dashboard have been there.

They know the sleepless nights spent worrying if the business can make the next payroll. MyCash Dashboard was born out of necessity. Importantly, being short on cash doesn’t mean compromising on values. Trust, integrity, and caring for staff are paramount.

Mike Lescai, co-founder of MyCash Dashboard, was CEO and shareholder of a transport group over 30 years ago. In the challenging, low-margin industry, Mike often recalls, “There were times we were receiving $1m a week and spending $1m the same week. Life was about juggling cash every day. When a client couldn’t keep their promise, we couldn’t keep ours. We had to know with high probability what would be in our account that night and every day for the next week. As the business recovered, we had to ensure we had cash reserves – accurately predicting future cash positions was essential.”

Together with Peter Hannan, a co-founder, our cash management journey began in the 1980s and culminated in the creation of MyCash Dashboard in 2013. MyCash Dashboard continually evolves with regular updates.

In 2018, Sam Trifiletti, one of Australia’s leading cost management consultants, joined as a partner. Sam brings a profound depth of cost analysis expertise to MyCash Dashboard, further enhancing our ability to provide precise financial insights.

We have consulted and advised hundreds of businesses. Having walked the walk, we are inquisitive, ask the right questions, and tackle data to provide accurate and candid information to business owners and management.

Our approach respects the work of accountants who produce essential Profit and Loss reports and Balance Sheets. However, these documents often look in the rearview mirror. From experience, we know that owners want to focus on the future. The simplest measure is knowing what is, and will be, in the bank account. Mike Lescai

Director

About Mike Lescai

Mike has nearly 40 years’ experience as an Executive and Non-Executive Director serving and advising executive teams across a broad range of industries.

He was CEO, Director & minority shareholder of a national transport group, ARN Logistics, based in Melbourne. The transport industry is a low margin and requires an in depth understanding of cash to survive. When the company was sold Mike and his family moved to Singapore to take up the role of Chief Operating Officer with Goodpack Limited, listed on the SGX, and the largest Intermediate Bulk Container (IBC) rental company in the world. Mike led a market capitalisation growth for Goodpack from S$137m to S$752m, achieving (at or near) 30% NPAT returns for 20 consecutive quarters and extended the use of company’s product from 43 to 65 countries. While returns were high the Board mandated high fiscal achievements and maintaining high cash outcomes.

Mike comments that he has seen both the ‘abyss’ and the ‘dream large’ spectrum of cash management. It was inevitable that he would develop a cash process that organisations could use to protect and develop their future. MyCash Dashboard was created in 2013.

Mike has presented and consulted in leadership forums, supply chain, mining, heavy and light manufacturing, services, procurement, asset management, fuel & oil, associations, local government industries.

Mike has been very active in the not for profit sector. He was President of Council on the Ageing (Victoria); Chair of LINK Community & Transport, Victoria and has been a board member of FCJ Education Board, and chair of the FCJ Education Property board and the FCJ Finance Committee. Mike was also the founding president of The Network of Consulting Professionals, Australia’s second largest not for profit grouping of consultants. He is currently chair of a startup – The Young Catholic Broadcasting Community.

Mike has an MBA (International Management) with RMIT University and was the winner of the Asian Association of Management Organisations (AAMO) Prize for top MBA Intake Student. He rewrote and delivered the International Trade elective for RMIT/OUA University MBA programme for five years. He was awarded ‘General Manager of the Year’ by the Victorian Transport Association and is a Junior Chamber International Senator. Mike is also a Senator with Junior Chamber International.

Mike is married with three daughters, is a keen sports follower enjoying the AFL, Cricket and NFL among others and has a strong interest in economics and statistics.

Sam Trifiletti

About Sam Trifiletti

Sam has over 25 years’ experience as a senior procurement and consulting professional, working across both public and private sectors in Australia and internationally. He has led strategic procurement, complex negotiations, and major transformation programs in industries including renewable energy, construction, finance and infrastructure, managing teams and overseeing budgets in excess of $1 billion.
 
Sam is Principal Consultant at ACE Procurement Consulting and has previously held senior roles including procurement and commercial leadership positions supporting large capital projects and operational portfolios. His experience spans greenfield and brownfield environments, where he has designed and implemented procurement frameworks, policy and governance structures, and driven operational change to improve commercial outcomes.
 
Sam’s work is grounded in a rigorous approach to value, risk and cash, with a particular focus on turning complex commercial challenges into practical, sustainable solutions for clients. He has led negotiations across a wide range of procurement categories, integrated procurement processes into broader business systems, and supported organisations to build internal capability in cost management and supplier relationships.
 
Sam is an active contributor to the profession, having guest lectured at Melbourne Business School and presented at industry conferences. He has also been involved in Victorian Government international trade negotiations, providing procurement and commercial input to support broader economic and trade objectives.
 
Sam holds an MBA from the University of Melbourne and has completed executive programs at Harvard Business School and Harvard Law School. He enjoys mentoring emerging procurement professionals and is known for his approachable leadership style, emphasis on safety and teamwork, and commitment to aligning commercial decisions with organisational values.

Peter Hannan

About Peter Hannan

Peter has extensive experience in business development, property and technology, working with organisations to improve operational performance and financial outcomes. Based in Melbourne, he has held senior roles in consulting and property services and has worked closely with clients across a range of sectors.

Peter is a co-founder of the cash management journey that led to the creation of MyCash Dashboard, bringing a strong commercial and analytical lens to the early development of the platform. His work has focused on helping organisations understand and manage the drivers of cash, profitability and growth, and on translating financial insights into practical, operational action.

Peter was the founder of Hannan IT Pty ltd, an IT business that specialised in customised application development, network services, web development and consulting. He has worked with customers for more than 25 years to clarify objectives, develop solutions and implement systems that improve operational performance.

Peter holds a Bachelor of Science from the University of Melbourne, and multiple certificate IVs in property, business, teaching and management. His blend of commercial, property, education and technology experience supports a pragmatic approach to problem-solving, particularly where cash, assets and operational efficiency intersect.

Peter has been involved in professional and business networks, including The Network of Consulting Professionals, and maintains a strong interest in how digital tools can help organisations better understand and manage their financial position. He enjoys working with teams to turn ideas into outcomes and to build platforms that deliver long term value.
